BIOBASE Hotplate Magnetic Stirrer – BS Series
Brand: BIOBASE
Product: Hotplate Magnetic Stirrer – BS Series
Models: BS-2H | BS-3H | BS-4H | BS-4HC
Reliable temperature control and consistent mixing are essential across many laboratory processes, from routine sample preparation to reagent mixing, analytical procedures and research applications. A hotplate magnetic stirrer allows laboratories to heat and mix liquids simultaneously, helping simplify workflows while maintaining controlled stirring conditions.
The BIOBASE Hotplate Magnetic Stirrer BS Series combines heating and magnetic stirring in a compact benchtop system designed for professional laboratory environments. Available in four configurations — BS-2H, BS-3H, BS-4H and BS-4HC — the range offers different work plate sizes, stirring capacities and heating specifications to suit varying laboratory requirements.
Designed for laboratories, healthcare facilities, universities, pharmaceutical environments and research institutions, the BS Series provides stepless adjustment of stirring speed and heating power, enabling operators to adapt operating conditions according to the application.
- SIMULTANEOUS HEATING & STIRRING: Designed to heat and magnetically stir laboratory liquids at the same time, supporting efficient sample preparation and routine laboratory workflows.
- ADJUSTABLE STIRRING SPEED: Stepless stirring-speed adjustment provides greater control over mixing, with speeds of up to 2000 rpm, depending on the selected model.
- CONTROLLED HEATING: Adjustable heating allows operators to select the appropriate temperature for their application, with maximum temperatures of 380°C for BS-2H and BS-3H and 350°C for BS-4H and BS-4HC according to the BIOBASE technical specification table.
- CHOICE OF WORK PLATE MATERIAL: BS-2H and BS-3H models use a cast-aluminium work plate with surface spraying, while BS-4H and BS-4HC models feature a ceramic work plate.
- CAPACITY OPTIONS FOR DIFFERENT LABORATORY NEEDS: BS-2H and BS-3H support stirring capacities up to 2 L, while BS-4H and BS-4HC support capacities up to 5 L.
- STEPlESS POWER CONTROL: Heating power and stirring speed can be adjusted progressively rather than through fixed operating levels, allowing more precise control during laboratory procedures.
- ADJUSTABLE LABORATORY RACK: BS-4H and BS-4HC are supplied with an adjustable rack and stirrer bar to support laboratory set-up and positioning.
- PT100 TEMPERATURE SENSOR – BS-4HC: The BS-4HC configuration includes a PT100 sensor for temperature monitoring.
- DURABLE HOTPLATE DESIGN: BS-4H and BS-4HC feature an enclosed hotplate designed for fast warm-up, durability and flame protection.
- MULTIPLE MODEL CONFIGURATIONS: Four models allow laboratories and procurement teams to select equipment according to vessel size, required stirring capacity, work plate material and heating requirements.
PROFESSIONAL LABORATORY APPLICATIONS
The BIOBASE Hotplate Magnetic Stirrer BS Series is suitable for professional environments requiring routine heating and mixing of laboratory liquids, including:
- Clinical and diagnostic laboratories
- Research and academic laboratories
- Pharmaceutical and biotechnology laboratories
- Hospital laboratories
- Quality-control laboratories
- Chemical and analytical laboratories
- Sample and reagent preparation
- General laboratory liquid mixing and heating
The appropriate model should be selected according to the required liquid volume, work plate size, heating temperature and application requirements.
